My Girlfriend the Dancer

My long-time girlfriend (almost 7 years) and Master of Fine Arts (she just passed her oral defense, so it's in the bag), Jennie Pitts, is featured on the University of Colorado Theatre & Dance Web site in the bottom left, for those interested. A work she choreographed won a regional collegiate modern dance choreography competition, and it will be performed at the Kennedy Center in June. It's a pretty big deal. She also just found out that she won the award for best graduate teacher at the university, which is also quite significant.

While a Masters of Fine Arts is a terminal degree, it's not quite a PhD. I'm hoping she puts a hold on her education for awhile now; I'd like to see her more than a few times a year.
