    Islamofascists behead American contractor

I'm sure y'all have all heard about this ... it's been all over the networks and websites. I just watched the unedited video, and I'm sick. People who can do something like that are animals, and should be hunted down and killed like rabid dogs.

After watching the full video, I have to say that it is really disturbing. The only thing more disturbing is the fact the the "prisoner abuse" is getting more headlines and air time than what they did to a non-combatant. I hope GBW holds true to his word and hunts down the scumbags in the video, and I can only hope that they don't come peacefully or if they do do it is because they are resting peacefully R.I.P.

I agree with Gunny. The images made me sick. Those responsible need to be hunted down like dogs with eliminated with extreme prejudice.

The terrorists don't get it. This kind of stuff doesn't weaken us. We are Americans. We are not the Spanish. This crap only strengthens our resolve.

We will win. We must win. The fate of the modern world depends upon it.

It does weaken those already pre-disposed to weakness, and there are a lot of those about.

While listening to a Philly sports radio station today on the way to work, the morning guy was talking about it (Berg was from the Philly area, so it is topical.) He was equating the prison photos to what Saddam did there, and whining about how we were supposed to be better than that. He then complained that the beheading was a direct result of our "brutality," and he went on to say that he used to support the President (doubtful) but didn't anymore.

He forgot that terrorists kill us regardless, and blame it on whatever reason suits them at the moment. Having a base in Saudi Arabia, being near Holy sites, looking at Holy sites, being Jewish, being Christian, being American, whatever.

The media is rolling the prison photos nonstop. Non. Stop. They should roll the complete Berg video non stop. Let the weak willed stand and be counted.

Yep. He should recall the first time they tried to knock the twin towers down was under Clinton's watch. No evil Republican president in office at that time.

The current story running from AP is that "Berg was warned to leave Iraq". This is almost saying "well he deserved it". Total BS.

Why is the press so outraged by the prisoner abuse in Iraq but not outraged by the murder of a US citizen in Iraq? Why? Because news that sways public opinion against the war in Iraq is news worthy and news that sways public opinion for the war isn't.

Media bias? You be the judge.

You mean after we listen to the crying heart liberals and their 'do gooder' attitude? Oh, let me rephrase that, they are 'do gooders' for other nations, not America. In their opinion, it's only good for America if it is good for others. Pacifistic morons.

I think the abuse that took place in Iraq is unfortunate, we as Americans should be 'above that'. But in comparison to what these Islamic animals are doing to innocent people is not even on the radar screen. But of course, the Liberals see a 'silver bullet' to politicize the issue against Bush and jumped on it all over the place. It makes me sick to see someone like Ted Kennedy talk to anyone about morals considering the sick perverse history that man has in his own background. He knows as much about decency and morals as Manson does about sensitivity training!

I have yet to hear one Islamic nation leader condemn the action of these terrorists, yet they demand apologies and retributions from America and it's leaders? Give me a fricken break!!

Personally, I think it's about time we stop taking prisoners and just making sure we kill any enemy combatant. We won't have to worry about prisoner abuse then will we?? Screw laser guided missiles, lets just start carpet bombing again. /sarcasm

I think Liberals and anyone who votes for Kerry should be charged with Treason. It is absolutely disgusting what they are doing to this country and as I know others had said before, could you imagine where this country would be today if the Liberals and the media were around in WWI or WWII? Who here speaks German or Japanese?? Absolute hypocrisy.

I watched the unedited video of the beheading last night and it was quite disturbing. Much more so than the Daniel Pearl one because you could hear the victim.

It's time to stop all this pussy-footing around and political correctness / "group huggie" mentality and just get down to business and kick their fricken asses and move on. Watching the evening news and listening to the leftist politicians could make just about anyone be ashamed of being an American. Not because of the war effort which I'm extremely proud of, but by the way these 'representatives' on the left act, behave, and run the mass media. Pathetic.

For the San Francisco Bay Area morning news, the death of an american... a horrible, violent and immoral act received about 1/4 the air time of the 'abuse' of prisoners. I agree with everyone else. Americans are so fixated on the 'abuse' because the people can easily see the footage. Pictures of 'abuse' can be easily put on CNN and run on Dateline. The can say things like, 'glow sticks in the rectum' and 'testicles' without offending too many viewers. But they certainly can't show a man screaming in pain as they decapitate him. So what's the media to do? Just like in child abduction cases... if there is more video and photos of the kid, then the media will run the story longer. You wouldn't see a single thing about Iraqi 'abuse' if there was not photographs to be splattered across the New York Times.

Based off the media coverage you would think that WE are the barbarians. It's not abuse... it's humiliation. Period.

I think that I, like everyone else in here, is just really frustrated by the whole affair. We're upset of the stupidity of our soldiers (Rule 1. Don't photograph anything!). We're upset over the biased liberal media and most of all we're pissed off that not enough attention is paid to the brutal killing of an American. I'm sure we all want to lash out. To cash in our frequent flyer miles, go to Iraq and go kill the evil bastards responsible for this. But we can't. However, we can all write to our elected officials.

In a world before the Internet, camera phones and digital cameras this would have been a non-event - perhaps relagated to a story buried on page three of the NYT.

Technology is making an impact here. For better or for worse.

It's tough to fight a war with one arm tied behind your back. I thought we might have learned that from Vietnam.

Throw political correctness out the window, and start destroying. I've said it before, make them fear the reprisal so greatly, that they never commit the act. But, we aren't dealing with rational people here either. Unfortunately, we've been fighting this war for over a 1,000 years, and there really is only one way to end it.

    Hi btw

Hi Chooz! and I agree absolutely. Politics and War do not and should not mix.
