My problems are over for now, at least for now. I already ordered DSL, so I'm still dropping cable, even though it wasn't the problem. I'm sick and tired of sharing bandwidth, and AT&T has the worst customer service I've ever dealt with. So, 1.5Mbps down, 384Kbps up DSL, here I come!

I feel your pain and share your challenge with cable service providers. I have Adelphia which is the pits at customer service and outages are to frequent for my tastes. When DSL arrives I shall drop them like a bad habit.

I think thats what you need for Cable connection... but I may be wrong.
