I kind of anticipate that the new Iraqi government will make the sort of tough decisions that the U.S. could not ... i.e., declare martial law and raze Fallujah if necessary to contain the Islamofascists there.

I don't see any razing happening any time soon. I basically see more of the same for the next few months. What most people don't know is that most of the government was passed over months ago. We've been handing off department after department for a long time. This was more ceremony than anything else.

It's important, but our responsibility doesn't end here.
