    Copy Protection

Do you own any of these games?

If so, you may want to read this:

I know I had alot of problems when I patch Civilization III. After patching it keeps asking for me to insert the CD, even though it's already in the drive. I tried installing from my CD and DVD drive and I got the same problem. I just didn't install the Play The World patch since I don't play online, but these copy protectin 'schemes' suck!!

Whats the use in employing this tactic if the games are still getting cracked, hacked and pirated?

Ugh. Glad I don't have any of those installed. This ought to be cause for litigation.

Yeah, I find it ironic that to get some games to work (or improve performance) I've had to download no-cd .exe's for a few games.
