    Wow that was intense!

They did a great job with TV indeed!

    Likes: SMooth gameplay
    Great action!
    Kewl rides and deployables
    Awesome weapons
    good ol tribes mobility
    Midair's still intact
    Awesome graphics and effects
    Great sound
    Netcode seems tight

Dislikes: Skiiing is setup for noobs and not as accelerating
    Bomber is tiny!
some of the Character models are gay
UT2004 feel is very prevalent (maybe thats not a bad thing>?)

Friggin awesome all in all, 1280x1024 40-80 FPS felt smooth as silk and the mid airs were there!

    game on!

I'll try to get it soon. I've been working on getting WoW installed (unsuccessfully).

If you were a zombie and I had to kill you, I'd feel sad.

The UT2004 "look" (bright colors, smooth graphics) is there ... but this isn't a twitch killer the way UT is.

The maps are excellent, and it feels like Tribes. I don't like that anyone can ski now, and the light armor does not seem to catch enough air with an energy pack, but other than that, I like it.

Gee, This game may force me to retire my Planetside Subscription... And if this game plays like UT2004 on massive level, You got to love it..

I am really enjoying it. But it's UT really. I mean it's built off the same engine, so it's not a whole grand scale different. NOT, that I am complaining. I'll still fork over the money when it hits the shelves.

BTW - Lan party on the 11th. You guys going?

I'll be there with CS:Source loaded.

Also, on Sunday we're planning to hit the sports bar to watch the Seahawks play if you're interested in meeting up for wings and beers and stuff.

I saw Ab on the same server as I was last night. Sent a couple of messages, but he was ignoring me.

I'm having quite a bit of fun with this so far. I'm a little disappointed with the lack of farming ability, but other than that it is very UT2004 like, with the next step IMHO. I played quite a bit of "Fuel" last night and had alot of fun.

Skiing is definitely too easy now. Hell, when I can do it at any point in time, even up hill.. you know it's too easy.

    Hylander,

I said 'Hi' to you a couple of times in the text messages. Guess we were both too busy with the game. :-)

I like CTF. The "Fuel" thing was a bit odd.

LOL. That was most definitely the case. I'm trying to 'refamiliarize' myself with the basics.

I regress on the skiiing take. Any noob can now ski but after some time in the game ive found you can indeed still gain very nice accelerated speeds using old school skiiing methods.
