    VP Debate

I thought Cheney won last night. Thoughts?

I thought it wasn't even close. Edwards looked pathetic - but then the VP debates don't amount to much. It's more like a mid week pep rally for the converted. Edwards did enough that he didn't hurt his side, and I suppose that's enough.

I thought Cheney wiped the floor with Edwards, effectively turning him into a mop.

On the other hand I think Edwards did just a bad as Kerry in being very unstable with his stances, seems to be the theme of their campaign.

    Cheney's performance was commanding. However . . .

There have been many people I have met in my life that I don't remember or don't want to remember too right Stitch

I liked what the guy from fox said after the debate, Edwards was a little to over zealous and it showed kind of like a puppy nipping at the heels of an adult trying to get attention. I only caught the last 45 minutes of it but I feel that Cheney won also from what I saw.

Eh, leave it to a liberal network to try and discredit him.. However, if true it really doesn't matter.. Cheney still won the debate.

    Thumbs up

I believe Cheney was taken out of context. He had premised his comment by referring to activities in the Senate, inferring that Edwards was rarely ever present. Hence the comment that Cheney was in fact the presiding officer and he never met Edwards. Cheney could have cleared it up but he didn't. Regardless, the point was that Edwards rarely showed up for work. Which is something the liberal media does not wish to talk about.

Imho, Cheney did a great job!
And yes, I did sleep at a Holiday Inn Express last night!
