I personally would like to start getting organized with this game, and I wanted to see who else felt the same. So far we are just pubbing, but maybe its time to organize some practices, and maybe even some scrims. We don't have to jump into a ladder right away since I don't think we have the numbers, but I think it would be good idea to get going on this, and if we need more people, then we should try and get more people. How does everyone feel about that?

Chooz- I have not tried 1.17 yet. I hope it isn't as bad as I'm hearing... I plan on jumping on tonight after some Tribes action.

Well that makes seven, and I know Beast and Cruiser (who haven't commented in this post yet) are in (or I am at least pretty sure they are), so that's nine. Team Warfare matches are 10 vs. 10, so that means we are short a few players, but thats a pretty good start.

I know some others also own the game, Squidly, Goob, Leonidas, and I think Rocks and Nuts, are you guys interested at all? Anyone else I'm missing? I just would like to know if we are going to need to get some new players to field a team big enough for the ladder... and what do you think a good number is for that? Its been a while since I have been involved in game competition, so I am sort of out of date. For a 10 person ladder, is 14 active players enough?

I don't want to pressure anyone in to anything, if you like the game you like it, if you don't you don't, its all good. It's all about having fun. Just want to get a sense of things, and get the ball rolling. If you think I am rushing things a bit too much feel free to let me know.

Should be able to run a 10v10 ladder team off 12-13, we used to do that.. heh. However the scheduling and such have to be just right.. I can tell you right now I'd be MIA on Sun, Tue and Thurs due to high level raiding in EQ.

I was holding off because I've had some connection issues lately. But the ISP guy came out and adjusted my dish. My ping should be steady now, so count me in.

I suck. I can only play defense. And I still can't dedicate time to play, so better count me out.
