    Election Results Map

This is a pretty cool map. It details the election results on a county by county level.

Interesting to see that a lot of the "blue" states look "red" when broken down on this basis.

    My breakdown:

California, county by county is for Bush. But all the liberals and the poor that need government hand-outs live in our big cities need a left-wing government. Northern California (north of SF) is for Kerry because they're a bunch of pot-smokin hippies.

The mississsippi river valley goes liberal because of the government support for river projects and the need for FEMA and government assistance to bail them out every year when the river floods.

South Texas goes left due to all the illegal/legal immigrants that want to keep their Social Security benifits. (Alot of them collect their checks, then drive back to mexico with our money)

Seattle goes left because the constant rain has just sucked their will to live.

I can't figure out the Kerry votes in the Dakotas. Maybe all the rich Hollywood actors that own ranches in the north are impacting the votes.

The northeast.... well, what do you expect. Tax and spend liberal haven.

Hawaii - this got me. With all the military bases you would think this would go for Bush. But most of those folks probably vote absentee from their home state.

    Alaska... easy one here.

Looks like Alaska, Utah, or Nebraska is the place for me.

    ROFL....
I was trying to be nice about it.....
But, I think Nuts pretty much said it for me too, concerning the East Coast with Philly... We owe them something, didn't you know that???

Hawaii - lots of poor natives.

Seattle - lots of California transplants. Seriously.

    Northeast - entrenched union laborers.

Utah, though beautiful and red, is teh suck.

Why do you say that? I have never been to Utah.

Utah is, shall we say, ultra-uber conservative. To the max.

Too far the other way for my tastes, but YMMV.
