Not sure what I think about the ending.

I felt the same way. I miss a lot of the monsters from the first game, and I especially missed that charge gun thing you could use to jump around with (although they did put it on the dune buggy).

I'm at the section where the striders are in the plaza. Working through the final 1/3 of the game I think. My opinions when I'm done.

I just finished it. HL2 is an absolutely astounding achievement (nice alliteration, eh?). In my estimation, it's the greatest PC game in history. The end sequence certainly leaves you hanging, but that's because HL3 is on the way. More Half-Life is most definately a good thing.

I'm at the half way point, just finished Chapter 7 (Highway 17) and began Sand Traps.

I'm absolutely immersed in this game. There were points where I was flat out laughing at some of the sequences, and just loving the subtle and obvious solutions to circumstances you find yourself in.

HL2 is definitely the best FPS I have played. It creates an incredibly immersive environment. As for the ending ... I heard there is no Half Life 3 in the works, at least not any time in the foreseeable future. Valve's employees were completely burnt out by the time Half Life 2 was finished. It would be nice if they would release additional missions and continuing story over Steam. :-)

I've just started. It's definately a great game. I'm on the edge of my seat as I play. The nice thing is that its retained the Half Life feel. A lot of games "feel" different from release to release. Not so here.

    They nailed this one.

Finished it today... The ending was typical Half Life. I was disappointed in the plot this go 'round though. As in, there was so little it is embarassing.

I'm on the water hazard level in my little air boat. Damn, those helicopters are nasty.

I just finished it and must see I'm disappointed that it ended as I was enjoying the hell out of it! This is one of the best games I've played in quite some time.

If I have one complaint, there wasn't enough DOG for me! DOG Rulez!

Fantastic title indeed! I could do without all the gore etc. The gameplay brings back some old memories while stimulating @ a whole new level for games. Just a fantastic title!

Just finsihed it. I thought it was just about perfect. Great action, good story line, some interesting puzzles. The gravity gun makes the game especially in the later levels.

    2 thumbs up.

    CS:Source anyone?

    Bribo,

I'd like to play some CS:Source, let me know when/if you are going to be on.
