Blast from the past...

Just out of curiosity, I popped I'76 into my computer's CD drive last night. I'd seen firsthand the errors and crashes when running it with a Pentium II/Pentium III, but guess what? It runs just fine with my Athlon processor! AMDs run it without problems. A few quick patch downloads later, and I was back in Groove Champion's driver's seat. I'm up to Mission 10 already...it's like riding a bicycle, you just never forget how to play. If anyone wants to see if Craptivision's servers are still running, let me know. (I've installed the Gold Edition patches, however, in order to make use of my GeForce 2 in single player, so you'll have to get that in order to play with me.) Still a fun game, over four years after its initial release, and it brings back some good old memories.
