So last night I was on ventrillo and my modem went to crap! I need to get a new modem quick, any suggestions. I need one that works with cox cable cable modem! The last 2 modems I had lasted 1 year each. Is this common?

Do you own the modem? Or is a renter? I know around here with Time Warner all you need to do is bring your dead one to the office and they'll give you a knew one - no charge.
