Drive Letter Assignment - USB Stick

Okay, here's a new one:

I need a small application that will automatically assign a drive letter to a USB Stick. For example, I plug my USB drive into a computer. The computer assigns it as drive F:\. I run some application that changes the drive letter to X:. All without having to manually access Disk Management... something with a single click.

There is a windows based script you can run to look at the USB device and it's current mappings, then reassign it. But for the life of me, I cannot remember the syntax for it. I'll see what I can find, then I post it. Just so I have a heads up. What 'device' name is signaled for your stick?

Well, I'll be buying about 10 USB Drives, so I suppose I can pre-configure their names (format).
