EA's "enforcing their EULA" by removing any "hacked" server from their server lists, which includes any server found having the time limit removed and/or the global unlocks for weapons enabled.Info here
They also state in the above that the only way to play on a ranked server is to play on their designed ones, so no 3rd party servers, such as ours..
I only have one question: WTF?!

How can you do any sort of global rankings if you allow folks to gather stats on private servers with all sorts of weird (or even hax0red) settings?
Unless I'm misunderstanding your point it seems pretty straightforward.

Mostly I was wondering why they felt the need to remove any server playing with no time limits, as only having 12 minutes per round is pretty lame.
And as far as ranked servers, BF stats didn't seem to have any problem tracking DC modded servers, and with the function of punkbuster being to confirm the validity of the clients files, why can't they simply do the same for the servers as well..?
Of course you can track stats, but if the servers aren't all playing by the same rules (including time) the stats lose much of their meaning.
I guess they don't want that to happen to their rankings.
