    iPod

I bought an iPod Shuffle for my wife last night. It's the first iPod I've owned, so I'm new to this.

I loaded iTunes on the PC my wife uses, created her account, mapped out the library to by FTP server, etc. All works fine. The iPod is detected, charged fine, can transfer files no problem.

The only thing is whenever you click on the iPod in iTunes, the folder window opens up for the iPod in Windows. Is this "normal", or is there a way to disable this? Not a big deal, you just have to constantly close the window as I don't have any need to see the folders on the iPod. LOL

Other than that, I'm quite surprised how great the sound out of this little thing is. The headphones sound very good.

Can be disabled in your options. My iPod shuffle shows up likea normal playlist.

Can you be more specific... I can't find any options associated with it popping up the folder for the iPod in a separate window.

My iPod shows up like a normal list as well... but as soon as you plug the iPod in, it pops up a window showing the folders on the iPod. Then it does this everytime you transfer something to the iPod.
