    I turned on 3d buildings and made sure the terain model was on and toured a few cities. Very cool when you angle down and use the keyboard to surf around the terain.

    After finding the control to angle the view I had to take a 3d tour of Mt. St. Helens and it is rendered very well right down to the lava dome but the picture is old so it doesn't have the new lava dome that was belched up this year.

    Very cool program.

    Sorry pubbers... it's 10mb and you guys would chew up some of my bandwidth.

    Apparently that's only for Google Earth Plus/Pro programs. Major Geeks has the free version of Google Earth for download.

    odd... that's what i downloaded and didn't pay a thing. they must have changed something. I got it minutes after it was /.'d
