    Scared

What movie scared you the most as a kid?

For me John Carpenter's Halloween was the one. I remember I was 13 and staying over a friends house. We watched Halloween on HBO and it totally freaked me out.

If you were a zombie and I had to kill you, I'd feel sad.

I was 9 or 10 years old, and we were watching Friday the 13th. At the end, where she's sitting in the canoe and he comes up from behind her in the water and grabs her. All of us in the room must have jumped 6 feet from our chairs.

Has to be "The Thing". Exploding dogs for the win.

The Texas Chainsaw Massacre was pretty horrific, right up until the part where the rest of his family comes in. Then it kinda gets stupid.

EW has "Evil Dead" as a scary movie? What a joke. I thought it was a comedy!

I don't remember seeing Jaws, but in the 1st grade I remember being scared to sit on the toilet.

Zombie movies have always been bad for me and the only thing I nightmare about is zombies... even today.

Did you know that the mask that Michael Myers wore in Halloween was actually a William Shatner mask?

Brrrrrr! Very scary boys and girls!

I didn't watch many horror movies, but the scariest for me was The Shining. I especially remembered the bathroom scene with the young/old woman.

The Thing and Alien were the two movies that scared the crap out of me. I still get jumpy watching The Thing now.

I think I have to concur with those who have named The Thing as the movie that scare them the most in childhood, though The Exorcist is probably a close second. I was way too young the first time I saw that.

Alien, I was 5, and my neighbors took me to the drive in to see it. That was scary.
