    Problem viewing certain pages.

I have the most annoying problem going on right now and I cant figure out how to fix it.

On certain pages, I cannot view images. I have no Idea what it is. I have messed with just about everything.

    My website for instance.
    www.railroadinghelpers.com

The banner at the top, I cannot view on my desktop computer. On my laptop and all other computers I use, these .jpg's are viewable no problem.

I downloaded Firefox to see if they would show up and that didn’t work. So I know its a dam setting of some sort..

In my IE settings I cannot change the security settings for some reason. I keep trying to reset it to medium -low and it wont allow it. Stays at medium.
    the error says

the recommended security level for this zone is medium.
the security level you have shosen is lower than this. Please choose a security level of medium or higher.

Will not let me change anything.

    Help me.

    Thanks guys.

I haven't had this exact problem, but in the past in Windows 2000 Pro, I've had issues where I couldn't view .jpg images OR save .jpg issues as .jpg, it would only let me save as bitmaps. It's weird that it happens in Firefox too, but its worth a shot.

Here is the resolution I had, but you may give it a try as it won't hurt anything:

    1. Start Internet Explorer (if it is not already started).
    2. Empty the contents of the Temporary Internet Files folder. To do so:
    a. On the Tools menu, click Internet Options.
    b. Click the General tab.
    c. Under Temporary Internet files, click Delete Files.
    d. When you are prompted to delete all temporary Internet files, click OK.
    3. In the Downloaded Program Files folder on your hard disk, remove the files that are listed as either Unknown or Damaged. To do so:
    a. On the Tools menu, click Internet Options.
    b. Click the General tab.
    c. Under Temporary Internet files, click Settings.
    d. Click View Objects.

The list of program files that are downloaded to the SystemRoot\Downloaded Program Files folder on your hard disk appears in the Downloaded Program Files window.
    e. In the Status column, note the files that are listed as either Unknown or Damaged. Remove these files. To do so, right-click the file, and then click Remove.
    f. When you are prompted to confirm the removal, click Yes.
    g. Close the Downloaded Program Files window, and then click OK two times.
    4. Save an image in Internet Explorer to test and determine if the issue is resolved.

If the issue continues to occur after you remove all downloaded program files that are listed as Unknown or Damaged, try removing the other downloaded program files that are on the list.

Note: The next time that you need one of the files that you removed from the Downloaded Program Files folder, you will receive a prompt to download the file to your hard disk in Internet Explorer.

I did a little research and most forum posts regarding image display problems in IE and Firefox are due to Spyware/Adware on your machine.

I'd recommend loading a fresh copy of Adaware or equivelant product and give it a scan on your machine and see if you have anything lurking about under the covers.

Adaware and Spybot found nothing. Both updated to current status. Its like its a setting that I cant figure out.

Reason I say its a setting is becouse I downloaded Firefox and am getting the same results.. Cant view certain .jpgs .. Dont know why

    Its driving me mad...
