Bah, I stopped using Winamp as soon as I learned of its horrid taint from AOL ownership. I used some third party players for a while, including VLC until I started getting aggrivating playback issues. Ive since installed x264, ffdshow, xvid, and divx codecs in WMP and have actually not experienced any issues o.0 One of the few cases I've experienced where a windows developed product actually had fewer security and playback issues than another.
