FC, DD and I are usually on HellsFury Ranked (BF2:SF) server. I've been looking around for another server and ran across a clan we played DC with: =SUX=. Here's there server information for their vanilla BF2

The 64 man runs full most of the time.

The 32 man we just made sharq/kark/mash/gulf 24/7.

Let them know that =[SUX]=LetsBeFriends referred you. I'd like to get in good with a clan that has a ranked server and good admins. Kind of like the old days with -GB- and other clans that made DC fun.

I'm going to shy away from the 64 man servers though... it gets a bit stuttery on my end (probably poor server load balancing). I'll focus on 32 player, vanilla for my ribbons, then maybe a little SF.

Okay, I played my best match (90+) playing sniper in warlord... I had to change my tactics completely and man, did I pwnd!

Good server with real good admins. 137thSquad.com (SF Ranked @ 72.37.184.232). I told them to expect more of us.

It was lag free and I had not stutters at all.


Edit: BTW, they play a ton of warlord on that server, so don't expect a lot of variety.

Also, my tactic was to run around the whole map and get flags. I usually play a more defensive game, but after watching FC, I decided to mix it up a bit. I'd beat feet over to the palace (sniper has the best sprint). Once at the flag, I'd place claymores in the hallway or around the doors. When I capped it, I'd run and grab the next flag. If I died, I simply moved on to another flag. I never became focused on a single flag. If I saw the enemy pushing a flag (like the insurgent hang-out) I'd drop a couple of claymores and just move on to the next flag. I never went after a flag that anyone was going after and never joined in any fire fights. I'd occasionally snipe but most of my kills where grenades and claymores. The goal was to avoid groups, stick the edges and move fast. I've never been so non-stop in one round. Good times.

execellent servers here,, played 2 hours yesterday,, no Lag

I'll give it a look. I only play on 32 player servers as anything more than that is a lag fest to me.

I play 90% of the time on East Coast Blood Shed server. I get awesome pings and no lag at all. Don't usually have a whole lot of @sshats either. It's a base BF2 server, no SF.

I installed the 1.22 patch then installed special forces, I dont seem to be picking up any SF servers, anything else I need to download?

Now to the real stuff. I played for a few hours yesterday, mostly just Sharqi and Karkand. Man it was a blast, I forgot how fun this game was. I randomly started a squad and after a few minutes, I had five guys taking orders form me, we cleaned house.

Kind of like the think you said Nuts, we would just go around capping flags. Usually we could all go in and take it right away, if that wasn't the case I'd hang low just outside the flag so they could spawn on me. Good times.

I tried the G3 in depth as well. Its the assault unlock for those wondering. Its pretty awesome, replacing grenades for the noob tube. A few bullets from the G3 and you're toast.

I need to get in game with you guys, as I can only imagine what would happen if we all got in a squad together.

I was on that server last night, but I kept getting completely kicked out of the whole game back to my desk top, so I gave up on that server...

It's ashame too, because like you said it was well run, and people were playing clean...
