You getting out of racing sims or upgrading?

I was thinking that with my new super-duper machine I might want to give it a try again... if I can get my ping squared away.

No, I bought a new Logitech G25 setup, and the ECCI pedals won't hook up to it directly and since the pedals with the G25 are "OK", I figured I'd sell the wheel and pedals together as a unit.

    G25:

But down the line, I may buy a new set of ECCI Pedals:

    With Clutch

    Without Clutch

But they will run about $450.00 just for those pedals, and my priority is building a new rig "soon".

I'd like a complete ECCI setup, but it runs about $1,500 for everything:

The ECCI Setup includes the 3 pedal setup and wheel. The wheel has fluid damped steering with a cooler unit, High Definition USB controller, etc. It's pretty damn robust and not a 'toy' like most FF wheels are. The Logitech G25 is a step up from the $99 FF wheels you buy at Best Buy. The G25 is about $300 and has two motors and the pedals are heavier with varying resistance, etc.

Look at the build of the ECCI, it's damn industrial! LOL

Damn! That's pretty impressive. Down at my old race car shop there's always an old formula car or two sitting around. I've thought more than once of hooking some potentiometers and pressure gauges up to everything and mounting a monitor and having the closest thing to the real experience.

Now that I think of it, you could probably pick up a cracked Formula Atlantic or old Indy Car tub for free.

Since Penske is moving their shop from Redding, they probably have some housecleaning to do...

You might even organize some sort of charity event to help lubricate the process...

    Wow -- Nice Gear man.

I have a peddle and wheel setup along with a hand made stand setup for my Gran Tourismo and Forza Motorsport play.

Race simulaters are by far my favorite type of video game. period.
Though I haven't ever tried them on the PC, always been on the consoles.

    Thanks.

Most of us "sim racers" don't consider console "games", as "sims". We're elitists...
