FICO Scores - The Poll

It looks like I'm the only thread starter here and seeing how my boss is in Vegas at a 'Conference', I thought I'd spend the day dorking around online. I starting looking into my credit report and decided to see what my FICO score was. Then I thought, I wonder if AKers score higher or lower than the national averages.

Funny you posted this, I just looked at mine yesterday.

It has taken me 6 years to repair my credit after a kindly credit card company gave me my first charge card at the age of 17 with a $5000 limit on it. I personally think companies that would do that are Satan themselves...lol.

But, after a few years of being irresponsible and many years of making up for it, I'm no longer considered a "bogue" (no, not a rogue; a bogue is car-salesman slang for someone with crappy credit) and I can buy a car at a good interest rate. =)

So, my message is, just say no to credit cards while in college. Thank you.
