I watched some of his other interviews too. I agree wholeheartedly with this fantastically brilliant Rock star. He has it all down right.

I think he needs to drop the PC act and speak his mind more. did you hear him dodge the issues?
I wish politicians of all flavors would follow his lead and just tell it like it is instead of pandering.

The problem is that those sorts of people can't raise enough money to run (or haven't found an alternative means of getting their message out.)
A person would have to be very wealthy and willing to make a go of it as an independent candidate to have a shot, and there aren't many of those.
There's a saying which (even if you don't agree with it) I'm sure you all know:
"Those that can, do. Those that can't, teach."
Similarly, I think the really successful, smart guys aren't all that interested in government. It's a different sort of person that seeks out those jobs.
