Match Rescheduled

In light of current events and the effect it is having on Insomniax and August Knight players, families and connections. We have agreed to postpone our match tonight. I haven't had a chance to communicate directly with GhengisKat, we will reschedule our match shortly. I will advise all of you shortly.

My cable was down last night, and most of the day yesterday it would work for a few minutes at best. I'm hopeful that I can communicate with Insomniax today or tonight however, I'm going to ask Zorro to be available to do the same if I'm unable to keep my connection up today.

Sounds good....I don't think any of us would be in peak condition to play a match tonight. Not that we will be in a week, but this is just too soon for "real" competition.

That being said....I will probably be playing on the practice server or our pub server for a while tonight around 9 Eastern time. This has really hit me hard, and I just want to feel semi-normal, even if only for an hour. If anyone wants to join me, great, if not, I'll certainly understand.

I felt the same way last night. Just had to get on and play for a few minutes.

I'm not going to let those BASTARDS get me down! I'm normally not a very violent person but I hope they find the location of the SOBs responsible for this and bomb them and the country that houses them back into the stone age.

Show no mercy. They certainly didn't.

Last night a few IX were in a Terrorist killing mood so we set off to play a few hours of Counter Strike. It proved to be a very good therapy!

I just noticed that you are from Albany NY!!!! Way cool! I grew up in Liverpool, NY (lived there for 17 years) but settled down in Rochester, NY when I went to RIT. I'm 31 now and been in Rochester for 13 years now. Are you an Albany native? ... we are only like 3.5 - 4 hours apart!

I also grew up in NY. I lived about 30 mins out of Syracuse, in a small town called Cazenovia... ever heard of it? It's one of the finger lakes. Bill Clinton was actually there about 3 years ago for some dinner party type of deal. Big thing for that small town.

I know Liverpool. My friend, Marcia Wick, class of 83 I believe, was from there. We have many friends and family in both the Syracuse and Rochester areas. A good friend went to U of R.

I've always lived in the Albany area. Went to school (with Squidly) at SUNY Potsdam.

We're practically neighbors.

As of now, the match has been just bumped back a week, so we should be ready to go on 9/19/01 at 9:30PM.
