I think it would have run if the races had been reversed. Texas hometown media is NOT that liberal most of the time.

Kudos to the homeowner. Shame he couldn't just off 'em and save me the taxes to pay for their punishment.

I love this guy.

In New York they would be bringing the homeowner up on all sorts of charges now as well as a civil suit by the burglars for having violated their civil rights.

I know it would have run in the paper ... maybe you are right about TV though. In the paper it would have been up to the public to figure out the races based on the names of the vic and perps -- we never reported race unless there was a description for someone the police were seeking.

In Philadelphia they omit race in those instances as well. You'd think that'd be a critical piece of information, no?

This news report was odd because they even showed the pictures of the burglers.
