Steam friends

The Steam friends thing is whacked. Bribo, when I searched for the name you listed it didn't come up... so I searched for Bribo and it found you. So I went to your profile and saw the August Knights listed and just clicked on all the names and 'add friends'. When I did a search for dsquid, nothing came up for that either - yet it's listed in the AK roster.

Screwy.

Do you guys know how to change your player name in TF2?

My Steam "name", which was different from my user ID, was the same as my TF2 name. I suspect they're one and the same (which is good because it prevents "smurfing".) My Steam "name" is now [AK]The Beast.

Looks like TF2 just picks up your Steam name as opposed to CS:S which allows you to override. I am now [AK]Bribo in TF2.

I did for about half an hour - it wasn't quite as fun playing alone, so I tried out Portal (for the first time) and that pretty much kept my attention for the rest of the night.

I was able to add a few people based on the names they put in this thread, but mostly I got the message that the person I was looking to add wasn't found. Maybe if I can get an invite to the AK group I can find y'all easier.

I'll be free any night if we do an AK night.

Dang ... I played for a bit last night, then played Mass Effect.

Hrm, that's odd, I definitely set it up last night. I was able to add about 4 people to my friends list, I think Brorlis, Erthafein, Abaddon, and one more who I can't remember off the top of my head.

It's just "Swae", I didn't put a tag in front of it or anything, not sure why you can't find me. I'll double check tonight and try to find the rest of you guys.

Ok so apparently I have a bunch of people on my friend's list that I don't actually know......lol.
