Well Santa brought me a new Logitech MX700 wireless optical mouse and it ROCKS. I love this thing.
Oh yeah, Squidly, you will be happy to know that the wife bought me the Extended 4 DVD set of LOTR - so I can finally watch the movie!

I got the Spider Man DVD and an 8' ladder!

I had gotten the Sony DRU-500A DVD burner as a early x-mas gift which i soooo love! I got socks, shirts, underpants, pants, boots, a belt, and a 5pack of tic-tacs. I wonder if my wife is trying to tell me something. The one gift I really wanted but I knew I wasn't going to get was the Band of Brothers set. That's okay, my dad and my inlaws left me enough x-mas money for me to run out to Walmart today and go buy it! I know that Choozoo will be happy now.
As far as the LOTR 4-disc set. I have to complain the actual movie should have been that long! I'm the type of person that want's the whole damn shooting match when a movie comes out. I remember being upset when I found out that there was a 50min longer version of Dances with Wolves. After I got done watching it I was like "Damn, why didn't they just release this in the theater" Oh well I guess it's nice to find NEW stuff in a movie when they release extended versions. I can hardly wait the see the 30+ minutes of footage they didn't put in the Two Towers when it's special version comes out next November for sure.
I'm off to Shovel the 37" of snow that I got yesterday, catch you guys later on!
For DVDs I got the LOTR 5 DVD set (with the geek-cred bookends), Star Wars Attack of the Clones, the Band of Brother's box set and "Spys like Us" (Don't ask.)
I also scored a bottle of Glenmorangie (Single Malt Scotch), 8 various bottles of hot sauce, and about every bar tool you can imagine, including a blender.
Now I really got to get busy building that Bar for my basement...
The sun has fallen down
And the billboards are all leering
And the flags are all dead at the top of their poles.
Wow! I got the 4-disc LOTR as well Going to see the Two Towers tonight with the free ticket that came with it, hope everyone noticed that! That movie was a lot longer than when I watched it originally, I swear it was an hour longer, not half. But I enjoyed every minute of it!
where is this free ticket you speak of?...

The ticket for the Two Towers is in the 4-disc DVD extended movie set (possibly the 5-disc DVD set as well). It can be used at almost every major theatre chain. Check the inside of the set for it.
I'll have to check it out because I didn't notice the tickets anywhere.
The only other DVD I got was Wall Street. I have it on VHS, but wanted it on DVD of course.

The FREE ticket was only put in the first run of the 4-disc set. The date on the ticket was only good till the end of the month I think. So it was really only a first week bonus thing. From what I have seen the movie is now on it's second shipping run's and do not include the ticket with them.

Well, sorry to hear that guys, but the set that I got has the movie ticket in it, plus it's good until Dec.31st so I'm going to see the movie tonight. I had originally picked up a copy of the 4-disc set at FYE in my town here but found out that my mom got it for me for Christmas anyways and returned it (where there were a bunch of copies leftover). That set ALSO had a ticket included, as well as the others that were sitting there. Guess my town is better than your's
