During my free time at work, I configured the following system at newegg.com. Anything I'm missing?

If I get this, I'll run my current system as a dedicated server. Haleburgh 24 hours a day!!

I HIGHLY suggest an nForce2 based motherboard.

I second that. nForce2 is great.
Biostar mobo? Never heard of them. I usualyy stick with Asus or Abit.

The new KT400A chipset is getting some decent reviews, but I'd still stick with an nForce2 chipset for any AMD combination at this time.

What's the big difference in the chipsets if they support the same FSB speed? I was looking at an nForce based Asus MB, but this was one much cheaper.
I think Biostar is pretty good based upon the reviews at the site.
I third that vote. The nforce2 chipset will make your overall performance better. Dual DDR. I love it. With the 2700+ my system is running at 4650 in 3dmarks 2003. No overclocking or tuning.
Do all nForce mobos have dual DDR, or will that be listed as a feature?
What is dual DDR exactly? Does that double the bandwidth to the memory?
Make sure you are looking nForce2 motherboards, and yes... dual DDR is a huge pipeline which makes a huge difference. Chipsets are extremely important when building a system and can be a huge headache if you make the wrong choice. The KT400 is not horrible, but it is nowhere near the nForce2 in terms of performance and/or feature sets.

*needs to upgrade to nforce2, 1gb cl2 ram and XP3000*

But all nForce2 Mobos are not necessarily dual DDR?
I recommend this one *http://www.abit-usa.com/products/mb/nf7-m/techspec.php* they have it at newegg.
I've been looking at the spec on some of the others and it seems that not all have dual DDR.. if you want a dual DDR cheaper than my recommend this is the one I found on newegg -> http://www.leadtek.com/motherboards/...ncr18d-pro.htm

Just an FYI, I'm running on an ASUS a7n8x deluxe with no issues.
