Hi folks,
So ... when do we want to play some "Secret Weapons." I think a number of us have this now.
I am available all weekend. :-)

I'll probably be on some this evening, but the NASCAR Race is on tonight at Richmond (I love short track racing at night!) so I'm not sure when.

Hylander, Beast and I played last night. Very fun expansion. Loads of new toys. The jet pack is pretty cool. Should add an interesting twist to the game. Damn hard to hit anything with the guided rocket though.
If you like the action of BF1942 then this expansion is for you. I'll be on around 9pm EST for some more SW fun!

It is a really fun expansion pack. The only "problem" with the jet pack is that the only weapon you can have with it is the MP40 submachine gun. I can see where a sniper could use a jetpack to get to a game-unbalancing camping spot, but I'd like to see a jetpack with an antitank gun (like in the intro movie!) I'll be on at 9 PM for some SW fun with Bribo and whoever else can make it.
I think the manual says you are outfitted with the same items as the medic, but I wonder if you kill someone, if you can pick up there weapon and use it while using the jetpack?Originally posted by [AK]The Beast

Well, I am out of Battlefield 1942 for a while. My game began crashing to desktop instead of loading today ... so I uninstalled it and reinstalled everything.
However ... there was a problem. When I first purchased the game, I had to get a new CD key from Sierra. Mine was already owned by someone else (or had been generated by a keygen for some hacker). At any rate, Sierra sent me a new CD key which I wrote down on a piece of paper and stuck in my jewel case.
Today, after reinstalling, I found that the piece of paper was gone. I fired off another picture of the outside of my CD case to Sierra, and will probably get a new CD key sometime next week. Until then, I am out of the game. :-(

Hy, Beast and I played some more tonight. Much fun was had by all.
Rocks? Stitch? Where are you?
Sunday at 9pm EST. More SW fun! Get onto the AK Ventrilo server to see where we are playing.
I don't think I can make it tonight. I'm not feeling that well.
First the good news: StitchJones now owns Secret Weapons.
Bad news: He has Yoga tonight.
I also now have Secret Weapons.
Sadly, I have no yoga.
(I'll be on tonite after 9ish)

I have class tonight but hopefully I'll be around about 9PM or so.Originally posted by [AK]StitchJones
I get done with Yoga at 8:45 so I should be able to play a little after 9pm or so. I gotta figure out how to use Ventrillo. I still gotta download it!
Squid!, glad to see the Seahawks win the opener!!!!!!! You must have been jazzed!!

Yea I was pumped... it's nicer to fly 5 hours after a victory than a defeat.
