Taxes and fees are around $6. For the price and as much as I use my long distance, its really nice. Only drawback is if you lose your power, you lose your phone unless you have a UPS which give you a little time...
At some point I'm going to be very interested in VOIP. Just out of curiosity, do you know how your 911 works? Will it report your physical home address?
