Excellent! With this out in two weeks and the extended Return of the King out in November, this fall should be a very good one for DVD movies indeed

I did see the WOW music video set to 'Can't touch this'. Preety funny
Been playing a good bit of it and have been fairly impressed. It improves on a lot of the things that I have had beefs with on past MMORPGs. First of all, downtime is nearly nonexistant for me, which was up til 14. I can't see there being much more though since you can use food/drink to revive your hp/mana quickly, and it isnt hard to get either. There is plenty of variety here too. Loads of interesting tradeskills, a plethora of quests, and a nice assortment of beasties and locations makes for plenty of things to do. I was hoping to get some PvP time in, but never had the chance. However, I have heard that they still have some balance issues to deal with there. I will most likely be picking this one up though.
Make it free like GuildWars and I'd be in.

No WoW for me. I'm still addicted to City of Heros.
No downtime in CoH either, even at level 31 I never have more than 45 seconds of downtime. And that is as a soloing Tanker, and I don't need a healer either. It's good to be super

CoH was good, but not great. I played the game for a good two months before finding myself in a grind fest that didn't seem to be going anywhere. There was absolutely nothing to do but kill stuff. You got levels, then got some cool new abilities that made it easier to kill more stuff. Then, to add on to the already monotonous gameplay, rather than adding interesting new gangs to take on, they simply recreated the same gangs with different skins and gave them a different name. I halfway expected the dungeons to change as well. Except for maybe 2 or 3 differences, I was still fighting either in the city, in a sewer, in a factory, or some sort of lab. Granted, I was only 28 when I left, but I could find no reason to go on. The only way I was advancing my character was by leveling. Since all of the ehancements in the game can be bought, there isnt really any novelty to your character either. As a casual gamer, I could see how it might be better, but as a bored college student with nothing to do over the summer, I found it far too repetitive. WoW at least gives you tradeskills and equipment to go farming for.

Isn't this what most of the MMORPG really boil down to anyway?Originally Posted by [AK]Jackle

If you were a zombie and I had to kill you, I'd feel sad.
