Heh, I almost put my dot next to Kerry's name just to artifically inflate his results... But then I'd have to go out back with a shottie and come back with only half a brain, and I hear that can be a wee bit painful.
I'm a bit surprised by the results of this poll. With all the heated discussions in the political forum - I thought the outcome might be a bit more balanced.

Don't ask who people voted for. It's none of our business. If they want to speak up, they will.

And he's a local guy (to me) too! Elkton, MD is about five minutes up the road from where I work and 40 minutes from my house. I actually used to live in an apartment in Elkton with a (now-ex)girlfriend, right around sophomore year of college. Faxman has made more than one beer run to Elkton liquor stores with me when the ones in Delaware used to be closed on Sunday.Originally Posted by [AK]Choozoo

I always ask people... it's not like I'm asking them what they said in confessional or how their wife is in bed. If they don't answer they don't answer. And personally if you're not confident enough to justify why you're going to vote for someone then perhaps you shouldn't be voting in the first place. If you're worried about being harassed then again, just don't respond. Too many people are all about giving their opinion anonymously but don't have the backbone or the knowledge to reason and debate with their fellow citizens.Originally Posted by [AK]Squidly

What swayed me? When John Edwards said that a Kerry/Edwards victory would mean the crippled would walk and the blind would see I knew that they were the greatest thing since Jesus Christ himself.

As I said, if they want to speak up, they will. In this context, with the sides obviously vastly tilted one way and nearly 20 folks staring at you, it's rude.
