Just picked up a 2006 BMW 325xi on Monday. I love it so far; it's a big upgrade from my 2004 Subaru Impreza WRX. They don't call it the ultimate driving machine for nothing!

Yeah nice ride....but...white?
White? I thought only middle-aged housewives drove white Beemers.

Sweet looking car! Congrats on your new toy!
Nice Ride!! Xi, all wheel drive. The only downside is you won't get to experience the nice rear end kick-out from flooring out of an Apex.
First things first, now it's time to drop a few 'K' on a new ground effects kit.

I'm so jealous. FC got a new bike, Palooka got a new beemer. And all I got was a new fuel pump for my 16 year old Swedish Brick. Volvo's still rock, baby! So I'll post my pic as well (eat it up, baby!) :
Nice new acquisition, Palooka.

I guess all the "ricers" have $25,000 AMG ground effect kits on their Mercedes too, right? Just like the $100K plus Mercedes R63 AMG with side skirt and front air damn extensions?Originally Posted by [AK]Squidly
Maybe if we had an Apple logo imprinted on the side skirts with something like "iSides" and "iSpoiler" etched in, you'd approve?

Looks like I struck a little close to home with this one. Non-functional fins and flaps! Yay.Originally Posted by [AK]Hylander

Nah, you didn't strike anything... it was a completely swing and a miss.Originally Posted by [AK]Squidly
It's ignorance if you equate ground effects to just "fins and flaps". Although ground effects most certainly can improve aero and gas mileage on the highway, they do enhance the appearance of vehicles when they aren't just retrofit Civic bolt on fiberglass kits available at ricer.com.
