Honestly, sad showing by the Seahawks... I watched a few minutes of the beating, but thats about as much as I could bear.

They were missing Alexander badly and Hasselbeck made some poor decisions.
The Bears appear to be the real deal.

If you were a zombie and I had to kill you, I'd feel sad.
First truly bad game for the Hawks in 3 years. On balance, I'll take that ratio.
They'll bounce back.

They played a tough Bears team, but I won't deny I was happy to see them lose after the whoopin' they handed to my Giants

'Zackly, Chooz. On the other hand....if the 'Hawks whooped our boys that badly....then got smoked themselves by the Bears--what's going to happen to us when we play the Bears next month?
I was thinking that, but too afraid to type it

I really don't look that it that way.... It's all about the matchup...
Just because the Bears beat up the Hawks doesn't mean they will beat the Giants..
The Giants are a pretty good team...
I think they hit the Hawk's game flat... They got up for the Philly game and were feeling too good about things after they came back...
I look that the Bears and the Giants and think it's a pretty good matchup...
Ok, so the Hawks hit the Bears game flat. Yeah, that's the ticket.
Much like the Saints/Falcons on MNF, the Bears had much more motivation than the Hawks did. Yeah, they're good, but they're not 37-6 good. I expect a much better showing next time around when the stakes are equal for both teams.
As for the Giants/Bears.... eh... looks kind of scary to me.

Despite the Hawks mistakes, that was a game easily within reach - even with every single call going against them.
