Don't have it. Too busy with QW. Will be on QW though.

If you were a zombie and I had to kill you, I'd feel sad.
Does anyone want to give TF2 a try? It's fun, fast, and funny. No vehicles ... just simple, balanced classes with specific roles. :-)
I've been having fun with it, but it would be nice to play with AK. The Punkbuster glitches in Quake Wars are annoying me.

Hmmm... not having any punkbuster glitches on my end?

Me either. QW has been very smooth and problem free for me.
I'll probably be picking up TF2 at some point though.

I'm assuming it is PB glitches that get me booted from servers every now and then. That's still happening to me, but less frequently than a week ago.
I also have a separate issue with Ventrilo and Quake Wars -- it will stop working and then play back the last 10 minutes of conversation at high speed. It is very annoying to realize that no one can hear me; and the game will not minimize to desktop so I can reset Ventrilo. I have to quit out to get to desktop ... I guess that is an anti-cheating measure.
But, I guess my main issue with the game is its complexity. I do not like the way it forces you to each objective, and the sheer amount of gadgets and gizmos you have to understand to play it well.
QW is fun, but feels like work, while TF2 is just fun.

I think Punkbuster has kicked me out of a QW server once...that's about it.
The Orange box is a must-buy for any serious gamer. Portal, TF2, and HL2/Epi2 are all fantastic.
It's impossible to overstate this. Buy it NOW. Seriously.

I find the objective based game play really quite compelling. I like the fact that you need to do things in stages (construct bridge, then move here, then hack this, etc...) I find the "take these flags and hold them" games a little tiring.
As for the "gadgets and gizmos" I don't find that overwhelming. If you are overwhelmed then just choose Soldier and go blast things.

That's what I'm enjoying in QW as well. I was worried it was going to be just another capture the flag type of game and it's definitely not. I don't find it overly complicated once you experience the different maps, goals of each, and on each side. We're all still learning aspects of the game every night. In fact, last night Gunny repeatedly learned how to blow himself up as he studied setting trip mines.
I like that besides the primary objectives you have various missions you can select from. It keeps each map interesting and dynamic without getting redundant.
