How does the Can't Cut list work?
Many of the best players in the game are on this list throughout the season. When a player is on this list, he cannot be waived from a team under any circumstances—even if he's injured.
The Can't Cut list, which is updated when necessary to account for injury or performance issues, prevents managers at the bottom of the standings from changing the league dynamics by waiving all of their outstanding players. Players are added and removed from the list as appropriate during the season.
This list does not affect your ability to swap a player between active and bench, or make a trade involving him.
The Can't Cut list applies to all leagues, Public and Custom, in Yahoo! Sports Fantasy Football and cannot be modified or eliminated from individual Custom Leagues.

My problem is that it's hard to get rid of a dog. Case in point - Frank Gore has done nothing this year and I'd like to drop him for a more productive player. I can't cut him though so he's filling a spot on my roster which I can't free up.
Another question: Can the Beast juggernaut be stopped?

Heheh. I have the same thing with Willis McGahee--he hasn't cracked my starting lineup but once or twice this year, and he's non-cuttable. Can't-cut players can be traded. And as for my team, it'll be interesting to see what happens to me this week with Brady and Welker on the bench. (And if you believe certain sites, which I don't, Brady might be gone even longer.)

Oh, and Hylander might be able to remove can't-cut players from your roster with his admin tools.
I have Shaun Alexander - Same thing.

I'm "stuck" with Ladainian Tomlinson. During a humorous exchange on Monday Night Football last night (the pre-game, actually) the talking heads were lauding the rookie Adrian Peterson. They called him the best back in the league by far,
given the lousy nature of the former "established studs".
Chris Behrman was quick to point out that LT and LJ were "just in a slump." This was received with knowing grunts from the other talking heads. Alexander was mentioned then by Keyshawn Johnson with an eye roll, saying something along the lines of "I don't know WHAT is going on with HIM."
More knowing nods.
So when Alexander sucks, he sucks. When LT and LJ suck, it's a temporary abberation because...hey...we LIKE those guys.
/eyeroll.

Damn. The Tom Brady story was a hoax. Too good to be true.

Yeah, I got hoax'd good. Heard it on the radio during a busy morning then found a site reporting the same (albeit a questionable one).
