A cool little engineer tip I came upon a few days ago. If you are in close proximity to enemy armor and use the repair tool against them, it slowly takes away health. So much so that if you stand there doing it long enough the tank will explode right in front of you.
Also, the first engineer rocket launcher upgrade (the Carl Gustav) is ridiculously effective against infantry.

Hmmm anyone have any point getting tips? I assume you can get masses in vehicles (last night we cleaned up in a tank). I ask because I was looking at some other players stats (points divided by games played):
KIDD: 777-925 per battle
Swae: 636-909 per battle
Rocks: 549-784 per battle
Highlander: 1080-1387 per battle
ME: 244-411 per battle
I play recon a lot and try to get my sniper points up. It look like I should be more diverse and switch up classes as needed.

My points are probably skewed by one or two rounds where I got between 4,000 - 7,000 points. One round, Kidd and I were in the Apache and we OWNED. We were racking up points and awards left and right - at least I was as the gunner.
I play primarily 3 classes:
Recon
Engineer
Assault
I've been playing Recon alot, but just switched over to Engineer to try and get the next unlock on the weapons, although I'd like to get the mortar on the Recon as well.

I don't switch up at all, actually. I basically only get medic points or vehicle points. For a medic, you get points for heals with medpacks and revives in addition to points that everyone gets (kills, base captures, etc.). I just make sure I'm focused more on medpacks and revives than running around shooting people. What can a sniper do other than shoot people? Maybe spending half your time sniping and half your time doing whatever else it is you can do (laying down mines? calling in a mortar strike?) would help maximize your points.
I just got the mortar, so I have been doing that a lot. I am not really disappointed with my progress, it is fun, but comparing I was way down. I have joined about 5 games late and been goose egged, that would weigh heavily with only 45 or so games played. I will try to focus more on vehicles, both killing and riding in.

The video does a pretty good job of showing the fundamentals of multiplayer.

Great vid.....I really think he was talking to me....lol.
He kept saying to push the "back" button to spot for your squad to see enemy location. What is the comparable command in the PC version?
Nice vid, I need to get better at that damn Q!

Here's my tip of the day: Don't neglect your knife. It's always a one-shot, and in CQB, it's often better than a gun. When you run into an enemy in close quarters, sprint at him and slash away. Last night, I snuck up on a squad of three and stabbed them all. It was curiously satisfying.
