    Thanks guys. I leave on Sunday and start work Monday. I'm pretty nervous and excited.

    Added to my daily reading list. As far as I'm concerned, this is just about the only news story right now, no matter how much the news tries to trick us into clicking yet another story about Gary Coleman's funeral flower arrangements.

    Well, after 2 delays, I'm finally leaving tomorrow to head to Houma, LA. After a day of intake-type stuff, it looks like I will be stationed in Grand Isle, LA. I'm pretty excited, since at one point it looked like I might be going to Florida. Nothing against Florida, but I'd much rather spend my energy helping my own state. I'll be assigned to the wildlife team and will spend my next few months on boat trips to recover oiled wildlife. It should be an interesting trip!
