I have never had any SUBSCRIPTIONS to close! Can you imagine how much money I have saved! How much have you spent on stupid pay to play? Now, you can never play it again Nuts without opening your wallet again. Not a very smart purshase if you ask me. Come back to fps 1st person shooters. Where real men play!I'm canceling my AOC subscription today
Food for thought!
Dude I was all with you but part of the enjoyment I got out of playing BF was playing with other folks. When everyone went to WoW, playing BF2 and Quake Wars become dull. I tried WoW but it was just monotonous and the graphics weren't doing anything for me (I prefer a more 'realistic' look).
When AoC came out I thought it would be a good compromise... good graphics, a bit FPS (more control during combat than in WoW) and the things that attracted AK to WoW.
But AoC was too demanding for some people's rigs, it was a bit buggy at roll-out and there just wasn't a flood of people to the game. I stuck it out for about 6 months but playing all alone was dull... paying for it was even worse.
So FC.... are you in Left 4 Dead? You have got to get this game. It's the best I've played in years.
Not yet, I have been addicted to Crysis Wars. Its been a long time since I loose sleep over a game but I am on every night.
If I can scrap some cash then ill pick it up. We are real tight right now. Wife got laid off and I'm making half what I'm use to at the railroad.
Actually thinking about going back to the clubs and beating people up again.
Its getting bad.
Stay away from iRacing then.
$156 + tax for a yearly subscription
$15 for each vehicle (Currently 9 vehicles, 2 come with initial subscription)
$20 - $25 for each track (Currently 25 tracks, 7 come with initial subscription)
Luckily, being on the closed BETA Team, I got everything available at that time for free at launch so it saved me a couple hundred bucks on tracks. So I've probably only spent maybe $200 total so far. You get 'iRacing' bucks with long term subscriptions to apply toward other purchases, some iRacing bucks for on track performance, and you also get bulk discounts for purchasing multiple items.
Not a cheap hobby.

squid is correct. I found WoW to be cheaper than other PC gaming over the long haul.
Nuts, if Beaker and I will pick up the expansion next week. We'll level up with you. Being a spport/tank type guy, I suggest you roll a Deathknight, palidin, or Druid. If you roll a Druid, be sure to name it spotted oil, you California nut.
